What are CBI Member Networks?
Local business coalitions work together to prepare for, respond to and recover from crises.
Coordinated response
CBI Member Networks bring together businesses operating in disaster-prone regions to coordinate their preparedness, response and recovery efforts. When a crisis strikes, member networks activate pre-established protocols, share resources, and pool logistics capabilities to ensure faster recovery for both their operations and surrounding communities.
Building resilience together
Beyond crisis response, CBI Member Networks facilitate peer-to-peer knowledge exchange at the global level as well as collective investments in resilient infrastructure nationally. Their members gain access to monitoring and early warning systems – often through business-led emergency operations centres, participate in scenario-planning workshops and contribute to regional business continuity frameworks.

From micro-, small- and medium-enterprises (MSMEs) to multinational corporations, businesses of all sizes benefit from shared learning, reduced duplication of efforts and amplified impact when supporting vulnerable people during emergencies.

CBI is a community of business associations, chambers of commerce, and other private sector groups. However, a certain number of individual businesses are part of the CBI Executive Committee. To find out more about both of these options, visit the GET INVOLVED page.
There is no membership fee to join CBI as a Member Network.
To become a member of the Executive Committee requires a financial contribution.
