CBI Progress Report 2019 provides an overview of the achievements of CBI in 2019 as well as the results of the CBI Annual Survey.
Some highlights of 2019 achievements include:
- 19 business networks were engaged and supported by the CBI Secretariat
- 9 CBI Member Networks and their partners addressed a total of 31 crises
- CBI Member Networks organized 93 local events and trainings in 2019
- Over 35 million people were reached through media coverage
Some highlights from the Annual Survey:
- Over 90% of the CBI Member Networks said CBI successfully raised awareness of and advocated for the role of the private sector in disaster management
- Seventy-three percent (73%) of the CBI Member Networks said CBI positively influenced their efforts to address disaster management, and the other 27% said CBI moderately influenced their efforts
- Over 80% of the CBI Member Networks find that CBI helps them connect and coordinate well or very well with actors in disaster management
